• Account data: name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Profile and CV: optional profile fields and PDF uploads you choose to provide.
• Tracking data: opportunities you save, deadlines, notes, reminders, milestones, and application status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs used for security and operations.

• Provide and maintain your account and the PataAjira features you use.
• Send optional email reminders according to your notification settings.
• Sync calendar events when you connect Google Calendar and request a sync.
• Generate summaries or recommendations when you use Explore, URL parsing, or CV features.
• Protect the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

If you connect Google Calendar, you will sign in with Google and approve the calendar.events scope. We use this access only to create, update, or remove calendar events for deadlines and milestones you choose to sync.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or eligibility decisions. You may disconnect Google Calendar in Settings at any time; we then stop accessing your Calendar through our integration. Events already on your calendar remain until you delete them in Google.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run PataAjira (such as hosting, email, or AI processing).
• Google, when you enable Google Calendar sync.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We retain your information while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records for legal or security reasons.

• Access and update profile information in Settings.
• Change reminder preferences or disconnect Google Calendar at any time.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us (see Contact).

We protect your information using measures appropriate to our service, including HTTPS for data in transit, hashed storage for passwords, and access controls on our systems. We monitor for abuse and update our practices as the product evolves.

PataAjira is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data through the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at /privacy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
