2027 International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Youth Forum

Summary

The 2027 IRENA Youth Forum invites young changemakers passionate about renewable energy to engage in discussions and activities aimed at strengthening renewable energy systems. Up to 40 participants will receive fully funded support to attend the forum in Abu Dhabi, which will take place from January 6 to 13, 2027.

Eligibility

Young people aged 18 to 35 from all countries

Requirements

• Active involvement in renewable energy, sustainability, climate action, innovation or a related area
• Contribution to or leadership of a project, initiative, startup, research activity or advocacy effort connected to the energy transition
• complete the online Expression of Interest (EOI) form in English
• consider geographic diversity
• consider gender balance
• demonstrated commitment to the energy transition
